Established in September 2016, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free (HDDFS) opened its first downtown duty free store on November 2018 in Gangnam, a hub of luxury goods, the beauty industry, and Hallyu. On February 2020, it opened its second store in Dongdaemun, the largest tourism/shopping district in Korea. By operating premium-grade duty free stores in key tourist areas of Gangnam and Gangbuk (districts in the center of Seoul), HDDFS offers customers not only the joy of shopping but also special experiences of the highest quality.

In the second half of 2020, HDDFS will be establishing a presence in Incheon International Airport. This third store will further strengthen the competitiveness of the company’s duty free operations and serve as the cornerstone for its rise as a global duty free corporation.

Furthermore, to fortify the operation of HDDFS Online, in line with the revitalization of e-commerce, and create a smart duty free shopping environment for a global clientele, HDDFS is focusing on consistently providing the latest smart technologies and high-quality services.
